Bottom left: a man declines to buy flowers from a female member of a cult. Above to the right, delayed motorists blow their horns and exchange curses with men climbing out of a manhole (center) and a storefront basement (slightly above and to the left). This panel is composed like a Last Judgment. The men climbing out of the manholes are like the dead rising out of their tombs, while the honking motorists sound the horns that wake them. Above them, another flower seller perches his buckets on an air-raid siren, forming a set of scales; while above to the left, like the blessed, a young man takes his girlfriend in to dinner with his parents.
